Seniors

This year, the club welcomes back a host of players from all around the globe. A trim and fit Packie McGrath has returned from Oz with a portfolio of Aussie Rules marking tactics up his sleeve. Michael "Sticky" Ward has recently traversed the Atlantic with pockets full of US dollars whilst Martin Gallagher, Stephen Ward and Garret Blake amongst others, have all returned to Ballyshannon following a Summer spent Stateside.

Meanwhile, Aodh Ruadh will be forced to navigate the season's fixtures without the talented duo of John Duffy and Niall McCready who are in Sydney and Boston respectively.

Ex-Mayo defender, Eugene McHale is once more, in charge of the club's fortunes with Maurice McLoughlin and Gary Walsh in place as selectors. Training has been stepped up to Tuesday and Thurday nights at 7pm with a weekend session also taking place. Kerry Ryan and Pauric McGarrigle are also on McHale's back-room team. Stephen Ward is in place as this year's captain.
