Ex-Mayo defender, Eugene McHale is once more, in charge of the club's fortunes with Maurice McLoughlin and Gary Walsh in place as selectors. Training has been stepped up to Tuesday and Thurday nights at 7pm with a weekend session also taking place. Kerry Ryan and Pauric McGarrigle are also on McHale's back-room team. The club re-captured the Brendan McHugh Cup on Saturday, 3rd February. They defeated Tir na nOg??????????????? Armagh in the final, having overcome Melvin Gaels in a bruising semi-final. They travelled to Devenish, Fermanagh on the 23rd of February recording a facile victory but recent challenges against Ballina Stephanites among others have been put on hold due to the current FMD crisis. Aodh Ruadh had a bye in round one of the Abbey Hotel Division One League. They hosted Gweedore in week two and were away to visit Kilcar in week three.
